Dear Swedish Weaving Enthusiast,
Welcome to the wonderful world of Swedish Weaving!
Swedish Weaving, a form of embroidery, is a very relaxing and fun needle craft that dates back centuries. In more recent times, this old needle craft has other names and is similar to as Swedish Huck Weaving, Huckaback Darning, Huck Embroidery and Punto Yugoslavo.
In the 1930's and 1940's, Swedish Huck Weaving on cotton toweling was very popular using Vintage designs. Some of these designs have been varied for use with Monk's Cloth.
Today, the popularity of Swedish Weaving on Monk's Cloth has replaced Huck Toweling. The use of Monk's Cloth has become very popular and the newest needlecraft to do. Simply because it is fun, relaxing, positively addicting. Most importantly, it brings joy to those who receive a beautiful, handmade Swedish Weaving item as a gift.

In fact, our customers tell us that quilters and other crafters are discovering and enjoying Swedish weaving as a fun and relaxing alternative to other crafts.
The beauty of this needle craft is that it only requires a few items:
- Monk's Cloth
- 4-ply acrylic yarn
- #13 tapestry needle
- A pair of scissors
- A good pattern
Swedish weaving is great fun, easy to learn and very relaxing. If you would like more information, call us or send an e-mail. Our phone number is (909) 861-0314. We would love to hear from you. Happy weaving!
Sincerely yours,
