This Susan Bates stainless steel round tapestry needle is not available. It has been replaced with the DMC #13 Needle and is the preferred needle for Swedish weaving. It is used for up and down stitching when picking up floats. The length is a very comfortable 2 3/4". This needle has a special eye, which when threaded, keeps it in place on the yarn and limits loss. We recommend this needle and the 5" long weaving needle. Both needles are round and comfortable to hold. Two needles per package. Happy weaving!
